Above you will find photos of some of work currently taking place at Memory Lake. Keep in mind that this is NOT part of any government grant. The work currently being done is by the Coleman Street Department and inmates from the Coleman City Jail.

In the photos, you will see before and after shots of the section of land from the entrance to the bridge.

This phase of the project was completed this morning, Wednesday, January 30, 2008. The inmates were using weed eaters and yo-yo’s to finish the task. The city employees are in the process of spreading filler dirt to help with the shredding at the lake. There are trouble spots in areas with high rocks, spreading the filler dirt in these areas will help prevent damage to the tractor and shredder.
